GameDev studio Oblocze is seeking an experienced Level Designer to join our team.

As a Level Designer, you’ll work as part of the game design team helping us to create and manage the heart of the game experience - thrilling, fun, well-balanced and interesting casual puzzle levels, that keep players coming back for more!

Work format: Full-time, remote from Poland or/and from the company's office in Poland

What are you working on?

• The name of the project(s): match-3 puzzle mobile game
• Genres: Puzzle, Casual

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

Responsibilities:

• Create new levels for a match-3 puzzle mobile game

Assess, re-balance and tune new and existing levels

• Analyze (real-time) feedback and metrics, and adjust level design accordingly

• Work with the team to ensure level consistency across the game

• Reviews new levels

• Actively contribute to creative discussions surrounding feature reviews and new features

• Remain up-to-date with Level Design best practices

• Work closely with level QA, constantly improving level quality

• Ensure that our game is fun to play!

What kind of professional are we looking for?

Requirements:

• Knowledge in game design, especially in match-3 games

• Knowledge of game balancing and pacing

• Understanding of level design concepts and ideas

• Be passionate for any type of games, with advantage to mobile casual games

• Great attention to detail

• Be independent and proactive

• Team player

• English B2 at least
