Lead Unity Developer

Values Value is a recruiting company with expertise in game development and is currently seeking an experienced Lead Unity Developer for a new midcore MMO project. Our client is an award-winning mobile development game studio that delivers the best entertaining mobile games for over one million players.

This project takes place in the dynamic realm of online midcore gaming, and we are looking for someone who can embrace the challenges and innovations that come with it. For which tasks (responsibilities)?

1. Focus the team on current objectives and ensure timely responses to any blockers from adjacent departments.

2. Facilitate collaboration with other departments, including communication of information, motivation to adhere to pipelines and agreements, and synchronization in the use of common tools.

3. Communicate with other departments in production, informing and motivating them regarding work priorities necessary for developers' progress. Organize and lead discussions to address complex issues and relay signals about task progression along the common pipeline.

4. Organize and manage the work of the team, which typically consists of 5-8 members.

5. Develop and implement project architecture and infrastructure to ensure scalability of development, project support, and future growth.

6. Maintain documentation and tools for team development, including code styles, manuals, Unity project configuration, and other necessary resources.

7. Ensure the formation of task pools, including estimating deadlines, distributing tasks, overseeing task execution, and providing high-level acceptance of results.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• Total programming experience: 10 years.

• Experience as a team lead or technical director: 3 years.

• Team management experience: 5+ people.

• Strong technical skills and design experience.

• Understanding and experience with modular development.

• Mobile platform optimization skills.

• Strong project architecture.

• A plus would be experience with Photon Quantum or ECS in general.
