Pingle Studio is looking for a powerful and dedicated QA Engineer to work on one of our most challenging projects.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

— Functional testing;
— Compliance testing (TRC PlayStation);
— Pre-release build checks;
— Smoke and sanity build testing;
— Creation of reporting documentation on the status of the project;
— Creation and development of the internal QA test documentation for the project;
— Working with target managers Xbox/PlayStation/Nintendo Switch;
— Working with debug functionality of the consoles Xbox/PlayStation/Nintendo Switch;
— Working with profiling tools PIX, RAZOR;
— Testing according to checklists and test cases;
— Creating and rechecking bug reports in JIRA;
— Development of internal documents and instructions in the QA knowledge base
— Participation in play tests of multiplayer projects

What kind of professional are we looking for?

— Passion for video games;
— Solid knowledge of testing theory;
— Confident work with Google cloud services (Google Docs, Google Sheets)
— Clear, effective communication across teams;
— Confident skills in writing basic test documentation (checklists, bug reports, test report);
— 1 + years of experience in the game industry working in a QA or related role;
— Good understanding of QA methodologies and tools, video game testing standards, and the video game development cycle;
— Experience with the test cycle of a commercial game project;
— Testing experience with games on PC and PlayStation 4|5;
— Experience testing PlayStation platforms-specific features;
— Experience with management tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.);
— Confident analytical and problem-detection skills, with an ability to work independently;


Will be an advantage:

— Compliance testing (TRC PlayStation 4|5);
— Knowledge of working with Steam branches;
— Confident work with Neighborhood and Target Manager for PlayStation 4|5;
— Performance testing based on the Unreal Engine.
