2D Character Artist

Due to the expansion and development of the company's projects, we are seeking an experienced and driven 2D Character Artist who will help elevate our visual development to a new level. 
This pivotal role will bring to life a broad spectrum of areas and elements, ranging from character design, storytelling, mood boards, props, character abilities, and much more.

• The name of the project(s): Farcana
• Genres: Shooter
• Platforms: PC

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Creating characters based on narrative descriptions and references through sketches and detailed concept art

• Collaborate with the Art Director and other creative professionals to advance the game's visual direction

• Create detailed original character concepts and related effects along with character skins 

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• At least 2 years of experience in the gaming industry in a similar role

• Proficiency in anatomy and portrait painting

• A high level of understanding in design, silhouette, proportions, structure, lighting, posing, color, materials, composition, perspective, and the ability to convey a clear emotional tone

• Experience in character development for PC and console games

• Passion for and familiarity with games

• Portfolio showcasing work that aligns stylistically with our project (Overwatch, Arcane, Valorant) - Ability to take constructive criticism positively and be prepared for iterative work

Nice to have:

• A background in classical art education

• Basic knowledge of a 3D software package
